Reclaim your social life.

Ditch food fear.

Thrive gluten free in just 12 weeks.

Tired of turning down trips, dinners or anything with unknown food?

Imagine saying “yes” without second guessing

The Confident Celiac helps you build the skills to confidently navigate food, travel and social situations—so you can say ‘yes’ and actually enjoy it.

If you’re feeling like celiac has taken over your life… you’re not imagining it.

Because it’s not just about eating gluten-free. It’s about the nonstop thinking, planning, and worrying that comes with it.

From the second you wake up, it starts

    • Is this actually celiace safe?
    • Why am I not feeling well?
    • Can I use the same sponge or will it contaminate me?
    • Can I order a latte? Will the oat milk steamer wand set me back for days?
    • Did I bring a snack? Should I eat anything at all?

    And that’s just the morning!

You’re managing meals, decoding labels, trying to keep your energy up, and always wondering if you’re being “strict” enough.

You’re checking apps, searching celiac FB groups, and texting your friend to cancel lunch plans (again) because you have no idea what’s safe to eat.  And opting out feels easier than the stress, even though you want to go.

AND, ultimately, it can feel simpler to pull back, avoid, and say “no,” when celiac feels this hard.

Celiac has a way of making your world feel smaller and smaller…

Until one day, you realize it’s not just about food anymore. It’s about everything.

    If you’ve ever thought:

    • “This is just how it is now.”
    • “I can’t trust anyone else to get this right.”
    • Is it gluten or something else causing my symptoms?
    • “Why does gluten-free life still feel like so much?”
    • “I must be doing something wrong.”
    • “Am I missing something?”
    • “Is it always going to be this hard?”

You’re not alone. Seriously, I’ve lived it, too.

    And it’s exhausting!

So let’s take a second to talk about why it still feels so hard.

Because if you’ve been doing all the right things: reading labels, asking questions, avoiding risk, cutting out foods, and gluten-free life still feels like a full-time job… it’s not because you’re not trying hard enough.

There are a few major roadblocks that tend to keep people stuck

    One:

You’ve been overloaded with fear-based, conflicting advice.

From social media to support groups, there’s no shortage of celiac info out there! But so much of it ramps up your anxiety instead of offering real clarity.

You’re told to be “more strict,” avoid entire food groups, or treat cross-contact like it’s a disaster waiting to happen. No wonder you’re exhausted and overwhelmed.

    Two:

You’ve had to figure it all out on your own.

Most people are told to “just eat gluten-free” and sent on their way. But there’s no support for real-life situations, like what to do when your kid has a pizza party, or you’re invited to a wedding, or you want to travel without an entire week of research and prep.

And when every food decision feels like it’s all on you, it’s easy to start pulling back from the things you used to love.

    Three:

You’ve been taught rules, not skills.

Maybe you’ve made a mental checklist of the “safe” foods and practices. But when you’re faced with a new menu, a different product label, or a friend who wants to cook for you, you freeze.

Because what you really need isn’t more rules. It’s the confidence to make judgment calls in the moment and trust you’ll know how to keep yourself safe in any situation.

But what if there was another way?

One that didn’t involve over-planning every meal, stressing over cross-contact risks, or second-guessing every ingredient label

What if gluten free life didn’t have to be this exhausting?

What if you could feel calm at any restaurant and actually enjoy meals with your friends again (without needing to bring your own Tupperware or spend hours prepping)?

What if the goal wasn’t just to be “strict enough”… but to actually live a full life with celiac?

What if, instead of more rules and restrictions, you had the expertise, support, and skills to finally feel confident in your body, your choices, and your life again?

Because we both know that celiac isn’t going away.

    But the constant stress can.

    Hi! I’m Selena

I’m a registered dietitian focused on celiac disease. And to be totally honest with you, the odds that I’m eating a GF cookie while you read this are very high.

As a celiac myself, I know how it feels to be overwhelmed and anxious about food.

And after taking years to break out of that space, and seeing so many people still stuck there, I knew there had to be a better way to support our community.

I’ve worked with hundreds of people with celiac disease over the past decade.

Not just helping them read labels or build balanced meals, but actually helping them to access current celiac research, trust their decision-making, feel present at social events, and stop living like celiac is the boss of their life.

Because you deserve to hold onto your love of food instead of living in fear of it.

So let’s rebuild your celiac confidence, together.

    Introducing the Confident Celiac

A 3-month online program to help people with celiac reduce the mental load, trust their choices, and finally have more freedom on the gluten-free diet.

After completing this program, you will

    • Feel confident making food decisions at restaurants, in grocery aisles, and on the go, because you’ll know exactly what to look for and how to respond.
    • Say yes to social plans and travel without spending hours researching or worrying about every detail.
    • Handle symptoms or slip-ups with more clarity and less panic, because you’ll understand what’s actually going on and what steps to take.
    • Enjoy food again without overthinking every bite, constantly stressing about cross-contact, or relying on apps to feel safe.
    • Feel like yourself again, with more energy, more freedom, and the skills to live your actual life (instead of letting celiac run the show).

What starts to change when you build real skills inside The Confident Celiac?

    Before

    • Every meal feels like a risk or a research project
    • You say no to eating out or bring your own food to feel safer
    • You’re stuck in information overload but still don’t know how what to do
    • Food feels stressful, isolating, and exhausting
    • Celiac feels like the centre of your life

    After

    • You trust your ability to make safe decisions about food
    • You can say yes to restaurants, travel, and social plans without overthinking
    • You finally get clear, practical strategies you can use in everyday life
    • Food becomes joyful, social, and simple again
    • You stop living around celiac and start living life on your own terms

Here’s how you will go from food fear to food freedom with the Confident Celiac

You’ll move through 3 supportive phases so you never feel overwhelmed.

Phase 1: master the everyday basics

Lay the groundwork for a gluten-free life that feels more easeful.

You’ll get clear on how strict you really need to be, learn to recognize your own “glutened” symptoms, and know what to expect as your body starts to heal.

Then we’ll cover the everyday essentials: from setting up a safe kitchen, to accurately reading labels, to understanding cross-contact (without the constant fear), so you can make informed choices wherever you are.

In this phase, you’ll go from “Is this safe?” to “I’ve got this.”

Phase 2: become a social celiac

Feel prepared for real-life moments, from eating out to events and everything in between.

You’ll learn how to ask the right questions (without feeling awkward about it), and order easily at restaurants and on trips.

We’ll cover everything from fast food restaurants and travel prep to airports and all-inclusives, as well as how to handle social situations like weddings, potlucks, school events, and dinners with family or friends.

In this phase, you’ll stop saying no to plans and start saying yes to your social life.

Phase 3: nourish your whole body

Feel better in your body and protect your peace without overthinking every bite.

You’ll fill common gluten free nutrition gaps, simplify meal planning, and learn how to eat well without spending your whole life in the kitchen.

Alongside our clinical counsellor, you’ll also get support for the emotional side of celiac—so you can stop feeling like a burden, navigate common struggles like anxiety and grief, and start feeling like yourself again.

In this phase, you’ll learn how to support your whole self, not just your diagnosis.

    But here’s the thing

Most gluten-free programs stop at information.

And information without support still leaves you guessing.

Inside the Confident Celiac, you’re not just handed a set of rules and left to figure it on your own.

You’re supported with professional and up to date guidance, compassionate community, and practical tools that make this feel doable, day after gluten-free day.

It’s the difference between “knowing what to do” and

    actually feeling confident doing it.

    Here’s what that looks like

    Learn at your own pace

You’ll get access to a private online learning portal for 6 full months, filled with short, to-the-point videos, so you can watch them whenever you can.

Everything is step-by-step, designed for busy lives, includes practical advice, and is grounded in the latest research and celiac guidelines.

    Get professional expertise

You won’t be doing this alone. For 3 months, you’ll have small group, weekly live coaching calls with me, plus check-in forms to track your progress, talk through challenges, and create a plan that actually works for your life.

This is evidence-based, personalized support, not a one-size-fits-all set of rules that just keep you stuck.

    Ask anything, anytime

Have a question in between calls? Want to vent about a frustrating restaurant moment or share a win with someone who gets it?

You’ll get access to a private Facebook community where I’m active daily, along with a group of fellow celiacs who are right there with you. It’s your judgement-free, gluten-free circle… finally.

    Guides, Scripts and Resources

You’ll get access to a full set of resources designed to save time and lift the constant mental load including items like shareable family resources, cheat sheets, and workbooks.

You’ll also get celiac friendly restaurants guides and scripts that show you exactly what’s celiac safe and exactly what to say to order safely anywhere, from fast food spots to sit down restaurants.

    Recipe and shopping vault

Get access to meal plans and easy, family friendly recipes that hit key nutrients for celiacs and bi-weekly recipes drops sent straight to your inbox so you never run out of fresh, low-effort ideas.

And get my GF shopping guides with the best of the best GF products!

    Build real skills

Along the way, you’ll be able to apply what you’re learning by using your shopping guides, cooking your low-lift recipes, and following your restaurant guides and ordering scripts.

You can also get feedback on the weekly coaching calls or in the private Facebook group. My goal is that you can learn, practice, and embody these skills until they stick.

The Confident Celiac is for you if you’re nodding along to any of these:

    • You’re doing your best to manage celiac, but you still feel like food takes up way too much space in your brain.
    • You care deeply about your health, but you don’t want it to define your entire life.
    • You’ve followed the gluten-free “rules,” but you’re still looking for confidence and clarity in real-life situations.
    • You want to trust yourself to make safe, calm decisions around food.
    • You miss feeling spontaneous, included, and at ease around the people you care about.
    • You’re ready for support that actually helps you live your life, not just avoid gluten.

And if your brain is already tossing out “what ifs”… I’ve got you.

This program is built to work, even if…

    • You’re convinced this is just how life with celiac has to be.

    • You’re scared to eat out, try something new, or stop researching in case you mess up.

    • You’ve been burned by conflicting advice and don’t know who to believe anymore.

    • You’ve lost trust in your body and second-guess almost every decision.
    • You’ve tried other support groups, courses, and programs and still feel stuck.

    The Confident Celiac Promise

The last thing you need is another program that throws a bunch of rules at you and hopes for the best. This is evidence-based, real-life strategy designed to help you actually feel better.

If you show up and put the work in, here’s what I genuinely promise

You’re going to end this program with way more restaurants you feel safe eating at, because you know exactly what to ask and how to order.

Grocery shopping will feel simpler, because you know exactly what you’re looking for and how to assess what’s safe.

Day-to-day life with celiac will start to feel lighter and less emotionally exhausting.

Sure, the anxiety and overwhelm around food won’t disappear overnight, but it will soften a lot.

Let’s chat about the celiac support that’s right for you.

Hey, I’m Selena — a registered dietitian who lives, breathes, and works with celiac disease every single day.

I was diagnosed with celiac just before finishing school to become a dietitian

And, I still remember sitting in my car afterward, totally stunned. My doctor had said, “You’re almost a dietitian, right? Just eat gluten-free and you’ll be fine.”

What no one reading this is surprised to hear: I wasn’t fine.

I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and terrified my love of food (the thing that brought me into this career in the first place!) was about to disappear.

And for a while… it did.

My anxiety skyrocketed, my social life took a nosedive, and it was a really difficult and sad time in my life.

That experience changed everything for me.

I left the hospital system and built a practice focused solely on helping people thrive with celiac.

Because I didn’t want anyone else to feel as unsupported as I did.

Since then, I’ve spent the past 10+ years working exclusively with the celiac community.

My approach is grounded in clinical guidelines for celiac care and current celiac research, plus insights from supporting 500+ clients firsthand.

My goal is to share practical ways to help you feel safe, included, and actually excited about food again, all through a gluten-free lens.

    I’m also

    • A gluten-free bakery aficionado (give me a GF chocolate croissant and a good coffee and I’m set for life ☕)
    • A nerd for celiac research (I read PubMed articles like most people watch Netflix 🤓)
    • A baker at heart (cookies and cinnamon buns > dinner any day 🍪)
    • A gentle, introverted helper who gives everything to her people (yes, I’m still working on boundaries 😂)

This work means a lot to me.

Not just because it’s my job, but because I’ve been that person spiraling in the grocery aisle and saying no to dinner with friends.

    I get it.

And I built The Confident Celiac to be the kind of support I wish I’d had: real tools, practical guidance, the latest research, and judgment-free support that helps you trust yourself again.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I join if I live outside of Canada?
Is the program covered if you have dietitian benefits?
How much time does the program take?
I already know a lot about celiac. Will I still learn something new?
I’ve already seen a dietitian. Will this still help me?
Do I need to be tech-savvy to join?
What kind of support will I actually get?
What’s the VIP Upgrade, and how do I know if it’s right for me?

Have more questions? Or just want to talk it out face-to-face?

    I’m so here for you.

    I’ve totally been there…

It’s really easy to tell yourself, “I’ll figure it out eventually,” or “This is just what life with celiac looks like.”

But if you keep trying to piece it together alone….here’s what tends to happen:

You’ll stick to the same three restaurants. Not because you want to, because you’re too scared to try anything else.

You’ll keep saying no to social invites, potlucks, and travel. Not because you want to, but because the anxiety and prep just feels like too much.

You’ll keep showing up to events with your own food, sitting off to the side while everyone else digs in. Not because you want to, but because the fear of cross-contact takes over.

And slowly, life starts to shrink.

Food becomes a source of stress instead of joy. Your world gets smaller, and you start to feel like celiac is the one calling the shots.

But it doesn’t have to be that way…

    You can trust yourself.
You can feel safe eating out.
You can enjoy food, travel, and spontaneity again without carrying the constant mental load.

And The Confident Celiac is here to help you get there.

Because I still remember the first time I sat down at a restaurant, ordered with confidence, and actually enjoyed my meal without fear.

That moment meant so much to me. And I genuinely want you to feel that, too.

Let’s talk about how I can support you and your gluten-free life.

The message I wish someone had told me in the beginning.

I know this decision can feel big, especially when everything around food already feels really heavy.

But here’s what I need you to know:

You’re not “bad” at managing celiac.

You’re not too anxious or too sensitive.

You’ve just never had the kind of support that actually helps you build confidence instead of fear.

You deserve more than survival mode.

You deserve to shop confidently, travel without panic, eat with friends and family, and feel like your whole self again.

If I have the privilege of walking with you through that transformation, know this:

I’m with you every step of the way.

And if now’s not your time, that’s okay too. I’ll still be here, cheering you on, and rooting for the day when gluten-free life finally starts to feel a whole lot lighter.
